We are back with our Employee Spotlight blog and this month’s spotlight is on Peter Ingle. Peter manages the Internal Recruitment team at IMS People Possible Possible, his job is to make sure we hire the talent that best suits our company’s roles and cultural requirements. Throughout his 8 years journey at IMS People Possible, Peter and his team has successfully sourced the best possible candidates for the company and supported the company with all its manpower requirements.
Let’s learn how Peter’s journey has been so far:

1.How did you start your journey at IMS People Possible and how has it been so far?

Looking to grow my career, I accepted the opportunity of working with IMS People Possible on 11th April, 2011 as a Recruitment Consultant.

Previously, I was working within the Textile industry, which was a very different setup and culture. That experience gave me some excellent initial experience particularly from the support of my managers. Alas, despite working efficiently, there was little job satisfaction.

The opportunity to work with IMS People Possible came at the right time. The constant hiring process for the organization always kept me motivated and satisfied. I felt I was doing something worthwhile every month.

The journey from being a Recruitment Consultant to Senior Recruitment Manager was not easy. My role today means I have to be constantly there for my team, strategizing and managing corporate hiring through various mediums i.e., job boards, social media, campus drives & references, fulfill the urgent manpower requirements of the organization, and much more. It’s a complete change from what I was doing during my initial years at IMS People Possible.

2.Any challenges that you have faced during your journey at IMS?

IMS is a new age organization which is growing at a fast pace. During the journey, my challenge has been to keep up the pace parallel or ahead of the organizational hiring requirements. This has been a tremendous learning curve for me as a recruiter, throughout I have successfully achieved my career milestones and grown as a leader ready to lead from the front.

Internal hiring has its own challenges, a task that requires continuous adaptation to get the best talent to each different division as per their expectations.

Challenges are part of my role, To be the best I can be, I engage in pro-active self-motivational therapy to help prepare me for the work day ahead. Moreover, the challenges which I have come across have only made me stronger, inspired me to learn more, and execute my new skills to overcome these challenges during the course of my journey with IMS People Possible.

3.Is there any person who always had your back during your struggles and helped you in your little/big achievements?

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.

Of course, I must say a huge thank you to my team, they are the ones who have stood by my side and supported me in my achievements, both big and small, during my journey.

But I must say a special thanks to one person who has helped show me the right direction, guidance, and support throughout. That person is Nidhi Sharma – HR Director at IMS People Possible. Because of her, I have been able to face all obstacles. She has always seen immense potential in me and she keeps on motivating me every day, something which helps me to continue to become a better recruitment professional.

4.How do you see IMS People Possible as an organization in the next 5 years?

IMS People Possible is an organization that provides immense opportunities to grow professionally within the industry. In the next 5 years, we would like to see IMS People Possible having a broader presence across the globe. Where we are globally recognized as a dream company for people to work at.
